Twelve Oaks Veterinary Services (TOVS) is a full service, mobile mixed-animal practice based in Starkville, MS. Our goal is to provide in-home or on-farm, personalized, compassionate treatment for every patient, regardless of life stage. We strive to offer affordable, accessible care to you and your pet. Whether your pet is a canine couch potato, an elite show jumping equine superstar, or somewhere in-between, TOVS is thrilled to be part of your pet’s healthcare team. We currently see predominantly companion animals such as dogs, cats, and horses, though we can see production animals on a limited basis, with the plan to expand!

Our mobile truck is fully equipped with a modern surgical suite, digital radiograph (x-ray), anesthesia, and dental equipment. We carry an on-board pharmacy and have a spacious exam room for your convenience and comfort. The beauty of the mobile truck is that we come to you! No more scary car rides to the vet. Happy pets are healthy pets!

We are excited to play a role in your pet’s health and wellness. Please call us with any questions or to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Blair Snively

Dr. Blair Snively grew up in Maryland and is a life-long horseman and animal lover. She was active in 4-H and showed extensively on the local hunter show circuits. Dr. Snively was often found, even as young as age four, playing “vet” with her ponies and pets.

Dr. Snively has been rooted in the fox chasing community for the past 18 years and has hunted as a member with the Howard County Iron-Bridge, Goshen, and Hardaway-Witworth Hounds. During college, she competed on multiple Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) equestrian teams.

Before veterinary school, Dr. Snively taught high school AG science, managed two local farms, and coached the University of Maryland IHSA Equestrian Team. After graduating from veterinary school, she spent two and a half years working as a small animal practitioner in the area. Called to offer a mobile, more personalized client/patient/doctor experience, Dr. Snively started Twelve Oaks Veterinary Services in 2018.

Acupuncture, equine rehabilitation, wound management, and preventive medicine are Dr. Snively’s chief professional interests. In her spare time, Dr. Snively is an avid writer and singer. She enjoys working on her farm with her husband, Bryan, infant son, Wakem, four horses, three rescue dogs, a cat, and a flock of chickens.
